While grounded theory is all about letting the data guide the development of your own theory, there are some existing theories that can be helpful as a starting point or reference point for your research. In this blog post we discuss some of the existing theories which can be used in grounded research studies.
In this article, I want to share my personal experience and insight with the novice PhD students, research scholars and doctoral candidates who are struggling while envisaging their theoretical or conceptual frameworks. Some more examples of the theoretical and conceptual frameworks shall be discussed in the next blog post.
This blog post discusses at length the key concepts concerning grounded theory research studies with a focus on its thoughtful selection, guiding researchers through the nuanced process of aligning theoretical engagement with their research questions and fostering an environment where emergent grounded theories can flourish.
